The MTSD students interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of clubs, opportunities, and extracurricular activities. Interested students can also apply for the MTSD STEM Certificate which recognizes students who have demonstrated their success as critical thinkers and problem-solvers and are prepared to reach their fullest potential in a STEM field. Through their coursework and extracurricular activities, STEM certificate recipients have dedicated themselves for the challenges of a dynamic world. The MTSD STEM certificate does not replace the MTSD diploma, rather it provides additional certification of outstanding academic performance and commitment to STEM careers.
